Game Play

let-it-ride_en Let it Ride also called “easy poker”, is a poker variation where player play against the house and not against each other. The rules have its origins in draw poker, and up to seven players sitting at a semicircular table can play against the dealer. The game is played with a French-suited 52-card deck.
Depending on the table’s limit players place their bets accordingly. Minimum and maximum bets are marked at the table.
After players have placed their bets (three equal bets per player), the dealer gives each player three cards face down, and two community cards are also placed face down on the board. After seeing their first three cards each player has the choice to take one of their three bets back or to "let it ride" and leave it out. The dealer turns the first of the two community cards, and each player has the option to pull out another bet, or to "let it ride”. The player may leave their bet or remove it, regardless of their first decision. Finally the second community card is flipped, and each player’s individual cards are combined with the 2 community cards to make the best possible hand.

Payout Table

Players are paid according to one of the following pay table*:

Royal Flush - 1,000 : 1
Straight Flush - 200 : 1
Four-of-a-Kind - 50 : 1
Full House - 11 : 1
Flush - 8 : 1
Straight - 5 : 1
Three-of-a-Kind - 3 : 1
Two Pair - 2 : 1
Pair of 10's or better - 1 : 1

Strategy

There are many different strategies and tactics one can apply to Let it Ride. Even inexperienced poker players ca apply a few basic rules, to increase their chances of winning.
After the three cards have been dealt, a player should leave his wager only if he has a promising hand. A promising hand could be many of the following:
3-of-a-kind
3 cards to a royal flush
3 cards of sequential rank in the same suit (statistics discourage from betting on Ace, 2, 3 and 2, 3,4)
3 cards of the same suit with a difference of four points (to be turned to a flush or straight), at least one of the three cards should be a 10 or higher though

As in all games of chances these are just guidelines, which when followed should increase winnings over the long term.
